Self-sufficient camping

Looking for freedom and adventure? Go off-grid!

For many people, the word 'adventure' alone is enough to make their heart beat faster. If you have an adventurous spirit and you're looking for ultimate freedom, off-grid camping is just the thing for you. It's a self-sufficient way of camping, often far from civilisation. Pick a spot in the middle of nature and leave your daily routine completely behind.

Vision Outback: outdoor living with indoor comfort

Want to combine adventure with comfort? Then meet the Vision Outback. We designed this model especially for (off-grid) campers who love the freedom to go and stay wherever they like. The Vision Outback has a rugged look and a smart layout that breathes adventure in every detail. And it comes fully loaded with options for off-grid camping as standard.

Everything for off-grid camping

  • Vision Outback view

    Your own energy system

Solar panels and a battery are a great way to camp completely self-sufficiently. The Outback comes with 2x 100 watt flexible solar panels on the pop-top roof as standard.
The solar panels charge the 100Ah battery that powers the 12V circuit in the caravan. This lets you use the lighting, water supply and compressor fridge without external power. How long for depends on the battery and the weather, of course.

Would you like one or more 230V sockets that run off the battery? We can install an inverter for that. Discuss this option with a Kip advisor.

  • Verzwaard caravan onderstel

    Bigfoot stability feet

Once you're on site, the large Bigfoot stability feet keep you stable anywhere, on soft sand in the dunes as well as on boggy ground. The large surface (200 x 180 mm) and cross ribs stop the feet from sinking or slipping, so the caravan stays safely and firmly in place. On top of the convenience and comfort, the Bigfoot stability feet give the caravan an even more rugged look.

  • Vision Outback 4x4 offroad

Sidebars, tube handles and roof rails

First of all, the sidebars are robust and therefore shock-resistant. Their large tube diameter and wall thickness make them strong and resilient, yet light. The sidebars keep debris from the road away from the caravan, so they protect it against minor damage. And they look extra stylish too. To complete the rugged design, the Outback also has large tube handles at the rear and roof rails that match the sidebars and run from the roof down to the front.

  • Vision Outback glazen voorraam

    Privacy windows all round

The Vision Outback has tinted windows all round, which give it a tough yet stylish look. The windows are completely flat, for even cleaner lines. The tinted glass also limits the view from outside, so you get more privacy. And the dark windows reduce UV radiation, which keeps the inside cooler in summer.

  • Vision Outback

    Raised, heavy-duty chassis

With the Outback, everything is different from the ground up. It has a fully raised, heavy-duty chassis, specially developed for tougher use. The raised chassis gives you more ground clearance, ideal when you head off the beaten track. That pothole in the road is no longer an obstacle, so the Outback takes you to the most unique places. The chassis is made of galvanised steel, yet it stays remarkably light. Thanks to the heavy-duty chassis, the maximum permitted weight goes up to 1,500 kg (optional, 1,300 kg as standard). That gives you no less than 450 kg of payload (minus the weight of any extra options you choose).

  • Caravan hor premium Vision Outback

    Premium insect screen and blackout

The Outback has the latest insect screen and blackout system on the windows all round. You choose exactly how much screen and blackout you want by locking the system in any position. We optimised the blackout itself too, so you can make it completely dark if you like. The system is also shock-resistant and stays firmly in position, even when you touch or bump it.

  • Compressor koelkast Vision Outback

    Compressor fridge

The biggest advantage of the compressor fridge (compared with the absorption fridge in the regular Vision models) is that the outside temperature has less effect on its cooling performance. Even on hot summer days, your food and drinks stay nicely chilled. Thanks to the 12V system, the compressor fridge also runs on the caravan battery. At 85 litres, it holds more and is more compact, which leaves room for an extra drawer above the fridge in the Vision Outback.

  • Vision Outback interieur

    Interior

The Vision Outback has the latest Vision interior, which we recently completely redesigned. So on top of all the extras, you still get the spacious seating area that converts into a third bed, the generous indoor kitchen, lots of space with plenty of headroom, floor heating, room for a portable toilet and the wood design interior with wood-look floor. Enjoy extensive comfort while keeping the pure camping feeling.

Awning

  • Caravan luifel De Waard

    Vario awning

This sturdy awning from De Waard is a perfect match for the Vision Outback. With the zip-off windbreaks, you choose between a well-sheltered space or an open, airy canopy. The awning is easy to attach and quick to pitch nice and taut, so outdoor life always goes on. The Vario awning is also ideal for the Kip camper on the move.
